How to use:
Take tamarind extract in a vessel and add 4 tbsp of Garlic rasam podi to it. Add tomato, salt and a little bit of jaggery as per your preference. Let it all boil together for about 10-15 minutes or until the raw smell of tamarind fades away. Adjust the rasam by adding water and bring it to a boil. Add tadka with ghee, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Garnish with fresh coriander.
Cooked toor dal (in limited quantity with water can be added while adjusting the rasam as per preference).
Store in an air-tight container. Can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
